Apart from iron supplements prescribed by your paediatrician, you may include following foods to boost iron intake Green leafy vegetable soup, bajra (in chapatti and khichdi/porridge form), broken wheat porridge, black cahana, lobia, lentils. Give eggs, and if non vegetarian habits then some chicken, mutton etc in soup/stew form. Use jaggery/dates instead of sugar. Do give some fruits like citru, amla, strawberry, watermelon, raisins. Hope this helps.
