my baby is 10 month old. he is having bit cold n cough. currently m giving him rice khichdi (carrot, beans n cauliflower),moong dal rice. What else I can give him? as he is having cough still can I give him sweet food like kheer bcoz as per my knowledge sweet will increase cough. want to know what else food I can give him? also want to know can I start giving green chilly n salt in his food?

I hope you are doing well. Salt and spices need to be started only after a year. You can give him this diet and don't give him kheer before a year especially if you are adding milk to it. Anything with milk needs to be given only after a year. On waking up-Breast milk/formula feed Breakfast- Ragi porridge/oats porridge/daliya porridge/stewed apple/pear Naptime Lunch- Dal soup/Rice kanji or mashed rice mixture/Thin vegetable khichdi/Pureed carrots Breastfeed/formula milk Dinner- Vegetable soup/Mashed potato or sweet potato/Rice kanji/Dal soup/Oats porridge Breast milk
