Ear infection usually happens due to spread of the bacteria or the viruses from the child's sore throat or cold ir upper respiratory infections. It can also happen due to accumulation of fluid in the ear. Here is how we can prevent ear infections in the baby: 1. Wash hands frequently. Washing hands prevents the spread of germs and can help keep your child from catching a cold or the flu. 2. Never put your baby down for a nap, or for the night, with a bottle. Hope this helps. 3.
