As long as your baby seems happy, active, alert, gaining weight healthily and is not falling sick so often then all is fine. If you're still concerned, talk to your doctor, who can show you your child's growth chart and assure you that she's developing on track. To help baby gain weight, include high calorie fruits and veggies like, bananas, pears, peaches, sweet potatoes and avocados. Also from 8 months onwards, include whole dairy products, like, cheese, yogurt, Dahi and add them to all the recipes. Even by adding boiled potatoes, cereals and grains like ragi, oats, jowar or dal flour, to various foods the calorie content can be increased
