My baby is not talking much not even Mumma,Papa, but he is able to understand evrything. Now he is going to play School where he is responding to his teachers(as per their feedback),but when he came School, started playing with his Toy cars but do not show any excitment regarding the time spent in school, what he did there etc. Other babies of the same age group are talking very clearly, sounds much comfortable. What shoul we do to make him cofortable to make him to respond othets with words not with signals,or other way plz suggest.

Answer:
Each child has his own pace. Since he is able to understand you and says a few words it is not too worrying. I suggest you wait for six months If there is no improvement in his vocabulary the you could consult a child specialist. Some children speak with clarity only by the age of 3. So do be supportive and encouraging. I understand your anxiety but you have to be patient. Keep talking to him. Sing songs and rhymes. Appreciate when he speaks.
