I understand your concern. The shift is a huge change for a child of his age. It can be traumatic. Please look at it from his perspective. New teachers new classmates. He has come away from his comfort zone. Give him six months time. He will gradually adapt. Meanwhile do not stress him about participating in activities now. Share your concerns with his teachers.
