Answer:
unless until it captures his imagination or surrounds wonder around it. You would need to make studying some of this, and that would make him interested in it. Here are a few tips - 1. Enrich your child's surroundings with books, picture books to explore, which, doesn't have to be class syllabus related, but more so on the concepts in a fairly interesting manner. 2. Your child could also have a writing wall/white board for him, he could scribble anything he wants on it. Writing helps putting one's thoughts out, and shall generate interest in your child to express his thoughts. 3. Encourage him to ask queries. Make it playful, not necessarily with relation to studies. Role model by asking what you don't know and by sharing the awesome feeling once you found the answer. Try and answer his queries, if not immediately, may be in some time, so that your child starts enjoying the interaction associated with enquiry. Appreciate and encourage the behaviour each time. In fact, make it sound super cool/ awesome kinds. 4. Get into as much details as possible while answering his query, help him see the value in detail, and not just touch n go kind of an approach. Appreciate whenever he does that. Don't hurry him when he's doing something with attention. 5. Get your child to try puzzles/crosswords projects at home in different settings/situations/surroundings. It will help your child build associations and lasting concepts. Hope this helps
