my daughter is 15 months now she wakes up very frequently at night and takes milk and sometimes sleep but then sometimes it's so difficult to put her to sleep that I gave her collicaid .does she really need that mid night milk or I can withdraw and how do I do that also there is no exact sleep schedule she has these days she barely sleeps even in afternoon and night time she is very restless pls help

keep the child well fed through the day with solid feeds. From one year of age you should start with three meal pattern, i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner along with two snacks. Keeping the child well fed throughout the daytime should help in keeping the child's stomach full at also. You should include dalia, bajra, whole wheat, rice, ragi, different pulses, vegetables fruits, egg/fish/poultry, milk products etc. in the diet. These can be given as porridge, kheer, upma, khichri, chapatti/rice well mashed with pulses/gravies, scrambled eggs, custards, poha, idli, pulao etc.
