My daughter is nine years and nine months old. She started her periods last evening. Although I explained things to her, still I felt it was too early and would like to know how I should guide her through this. I also read in some online journals that early puberty maybe the cause of breast and reproductive tract cancers later on ; it is also mentioned in certain articles that early puberty and body development might result in a shorter adult (my daughter is pretty tall for her age); are these true? Can anybody help me with my confusions?
