My daughter is studying 10 th in state board syllabus. In view of the NEET exams, is it a must to change her to a CBSE school for 11 th and 12 th. It is a girls only school. Will a change of syllabus in a co ed school , in a hostel,be a rude shock to her .We live in a rural place ,and good coaching centre for NEET is available only in a city. Kindly guide ,what would be better, and how to counsell her psychologically. Thank u.

CBSE is definitely better to prepare for NEET. the concepts covered in NCERT BOOKs will help to prepare better. Rote learning which is common in state board has to be avoided while preparing for NEET. You could enrol her in a cbse school in cuddlaore and take her to Pondicherry for the coaching. Will this work out logistically? If there are no options then you will have to prepare her mentally to study in a co Ed school. You will have to coach her on how she ought to manage herself. she has to be clear about her goals and that she has to put in time and effort into studies and NEET. Help her to have a time table. Time table is very important to manage school and NEET.
