since rice is your staple the child would eventually accept it. The child could be bored of eating the same food everyday. You offer other varieties of rice like tomato, tamarind, vegetables, coconut, lemon etc. Make your child eat her meals with other family members. Seeing others eating rice would encourage her and gradually she would start eating rice. You can offer other cereals like wheat, ragi, bajra, dalia, which are equally healthy.
