my son is 1. 6 years old and he was admitted in hospital for a week due to pneumonia and he also allergic and taking inhalers as a preventive. still he is getting caugh and cold what should I do now?

keep a smoke-free environment at all times. Proper hygiene practices such as frequent hand washing also can help minimize the risk of contracting bronchial pneumonia. Make sure your baby eats well and gets plenty of fluids and rest. Fluids dont mean just water. It should be fruit juices, lentil soups and other soups. But as you say despite medicines not recovering, please consult a different doctor. NOTE- The most effective method to prevent your child from catching pneumonia is vaccination. Vaccines against the pneumococcus, flu and measles are all available in the first months of your baby's life. I hope this helps.
