My son is 2 months old now. I have seen so many videos and read many blogs regarding vaccinations. One such site is http://www.swaraj.org/shikshantar/40Reasons.htm. It says they are more dangerous as it contains mercury and other dangerous chemicals. Parents are been forced to inject it without any awareness. Please clarify whether it is necessaryto give vaccinations. If yes, please specify the reason.health Corner
It is necessary and safe to vaccinte children against vaccine preventable diseases. There has been enough scientific evidence to support this. Unfortunately there will always be counter arguments, anecdotal incidents and misinformation on the Web that can confuse parents. Be assured that vaccination is a proven safe and effective measure, approved by WHO and practised widely across countries. There are many vaccines available now-- some mandatory and few optional depending on which part of the world you are in, the diseases prevalent there etc. That is a discussion you can have with your paediatrician too. We have been able to eradicate small pox and hopefully polio in the near future by ensuring universal vaccination. Diphtheria, tetanus, measles are other examples of diseases that can be life threatening for your child and are preventable by vaccination. Hope this helps to allay your doubts.
