my son is 2 years 1 mnth and he is very very mischievious. he just want to play, pull all the stuffs at home kept at their respective places and throw it here and there. he immediately gets bored when i open a ABC book. be just wants to play with my sister in laws children. i am a working women and is away from my son for almost 12-13 hours. what do i do to make him study or create interest in him to read books.

Enrich your child's room with books, picture books to explore, which, doesn't have to be class syllabus related, but more so in unique and interesting manner. for e. g. through interesting books, or by enriching your child's surroundings with interesting things like an Atlas on the wall. 2. Your child could also have a writing wall/white board for him so he could scribble anything he wants on it. Writing helps putting one's thoughts out, and shall generate interest in your child to express his thoughts. 3. Encourage him to ask queries. Make it interactive, playful, not necessarily and don't keep the example only from studies/books. 4. Get your child to trylanguage puzzles/crosswords projects at home in different settings/situations/surroundings. It will help your child build associations and lasting concepts. 5.
