my son is 23 days old.. his birth weight is 3. 3kg and present weight is 3. 7.. he has born after 38 weeks and 4 days of pregnancy. he still has jaundice level of 12. 1.. first test was conducted when he is 17 days and the level was 15. 1 and 2nd test was conducted for 20 days and result was 13. 1. please tell me why his level is not decreasing

Hi swati there are many causes of neonatal jaundice most common is exaggerated physiological but since your baby is having jaundice over a prolonged duration we need to look into other various causes . There is a list and by enumerating them will not help all you need to do is visit your paediatric let him examine the baby and than decide what all other tests are required to find the cause .
