My son is autistic boy and deaf, hyperactive Can we minimise his hyperactivity by food? & How?child-psychology Corner
I hope you are doing well. You need to talk to your doctor regarding the same. Firstly, you need to work with a child psychologist regarding the same and then you can start with a diet that minimizes his hyperactivity. Also, to minimize hyperactivity avoid foods that are high in sugar and salt. Give him normal home-cooked food that is less on spices and has zero preservatives. You can add color and flavor to his food with fruits (banana, apple, strawberry)and vegetables ( beetroot/spinach/carrot). Minimize dairy products as much as you can :) Also try and incorporate alternatives of wheat (rye, ragi, rice, barley, buckwheat, and tapioca).
