my son is eight months old. he has dryness on his head like a thickly layer since he was 3 months old. it has taken his hairs too. I went to the doctor for any suggestion but he said it's normal . I'm applying coconut oil regularly but that thickly dryness is not going

Its called cradle cap. It is quite normal for kids of this age. Avoid applying heavy oil and keeping it whole day, apply warm oil one hour before bath and shampoo using a mild shampoo or an anti fungal shampoo (on your paediatrician's prescription) and comb out gently after washing while hair are still wet. Don't worry about hair loss, they'll grow back again.
