My wife is 23 week preganant with t3 240,t4 13. 3,tsh 2. 46,ft3 2. 76,ft4 1. 04 with thyroid issue. placenta anterior 1 grade in lower margin not in lower segnment. liquor excess AFI 21cms for follow up. doctor told to us more water around the child. throid issue will affect my child directly ? any mental retardation of baby,any birth effects or else other ? any affect more water around the child ? thank you doctor.

Thyroid plays a very important role in your baby's brain development. If you have abnormal thyroid levels, please consult your doctor and take medication as advised. You can do some dietery modifications as followed. You must eat in moderation- The veggies can be cooked well.
- Cabbage
- Cauliflower
- Spinach
- Broccoli
- Soya
- Soya milk
- Tofu
- Peanuts
- Sweet potato
- Peaches
Avoid millets,highly processed foods and bread and bread products :)
