My wife is pregnant and 2 months are complete. However her haemoglobin is too low. Pls suggest good food sources to increase haemoglobin levels for vegans.

You may include following foods in her daily diet
• dark green leafy vegetables, like mustard (sarson), chana saag, chulai, arbi ke patte, mint.
• cereals like bajra, jowar, whole wheat, chirwa, murmura
• pulses & legumes- Bengal gram, lentils, lobia, soybeans
• Fruits like watermelon, raisins, dried peaches & apricots
Do add some citrus fruits also as they help in absorption of iron.
