our kid is 3 yrs 9 months old. she s healthy but falls sick very easily. some people sujjested adding complain to her milk. I did that for 1 month or so. but now ve second thoughts. read lot of things on internet that all these health drinks r equal to junk n kids put on weight easily after using them. how much of this is true.

few suggestions to help in her immunity are- give good quality proteins from eggs, meat, poultry, cheese, paneer, soybean (nuggets, soymilk, tofu) whole dals, beans & legumes. Include nuts like walnut, almonds, peanuts, dried fruits(dates, raisins, currants apricots)and seed (flaxseed, sesame, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds) in daily diet. Use whole gains like bajra, dalia, ragi, sprouted beans. Do give some vegetables from these daily amla, green leafy vegetables, spinach, broccoli, Do give some fruits from these guava, strawberries, citrus fruits like orange, mausami, lemon. Encourage the child to indulge in more outdoor games and activities to increase her stamina. Whether you want to use a health drink, is your choice or take advice of your paediatrician.
