at seven months, you can give porridge of suji, sago, dalia, rice flakes, ragi etc. Kheer of apple, rice etc. , upma, soft scrambled egg yolk, thin dal, soups, mashed veggies, boiled mashed potato, sweet potato, mashed banana, stewed fruits etc. For older one, you should include dalia, bajra, whole wheat, rice, ragi, different pulses, vegetables fruits, egg/fish/poultry, nuts and dried fruits, milk products etc. in the diet. These can be given as porridge, kheer, upma, khichri, chapatti/rice well mashed with pulses/gravies, scrambled eggs, custards, vegetable poha, idli, pulao, dosa, pasta, cheela, cutlets, pancakes etc.
