Offer the child variety of foods. Include foods from all the five food groups - 1)Cereals / millets like ragi, bajra, wheat, oats, rice , suji etc. 2) Protein foods like dals or pulses, egg, chicken, fish, paneer etc 3) Fruits and vegetables - Include rainbow of fruits and vegetables as different fruits and vegetables have different antioxidants and helps in immunity boosting 4) Fats - Fats like ghee, butter, oils etc 5) Dairy - Milk and milk products to provide Ca and Vitamin D for healthy bones and teeth. Try including the foods from all these 5 food groups in a day. Serve the kid 3 main meals and 2-3 snacks in addition to the milk.
