What could be the reason that a sweet, polite child becomes aggressive in a span of just 6-7 months. My girl Siya, 9 years old used to be a shy child, until last year. Gradually she started becoming stubborn, and started replying back to us. Now she is becoming aggressive and sometimes even slaps herself, if we do not listen to her. I completely fail to understand the reason for this change other than that she is unable to go out and play with agemates. Could that be the sole reason responsible for this change?

Hello Ma'am ! Please suggest some strategies to control the aggressive behaviour of my 7 year old. He is so aggressive that he even hits his elder bother who is 11 years old and a complete opposite of him. He would tease him ,nag him , take advantage of his kind and sensitive behaviour and even trouble him so much that my elder one would sometimes cry in his room. But he still never complains to me. I find both of them extreme in their behaviours. Am I too much worried and they will be fine or my concerns are valid and I should do something about this and protect my elder one From being bullied by my younger one?kindly guide.

Ma'am bacchey ko shaant karne ki kuch tarkeeb batayein. Mera 4 saal ka beta jab rona shuru karta hai to poora ghar sir par utha leta hai. Daant ,pyaar, maar kuch kaam nahi aata. Usey Na sunna bilkul pasand nahi hai. Chaiye to chaiye. Woh akela beta hai hamare poore parivaar mai aur uske Dada Dadi usey kuch nahi kehne detey ,shayad isliye bhi laad pyaar mai aisa karta hai . Please kuch tarkeeb batayein ki woh roye nahi.

These days it is said we should not spank our children or punish them for their wrongdoings, but when we were growing up, I believe those beatings, punishments by teachers and parents made us what we are today. Isn't this generation losing on values, becoming lazier as everything is being made available to them on a platter. My husband and I differ on these issues. He doens't let me say anything to my child and creates a scene on days when I spank him and fails to see my intent in making him a better person. I am very disturbed because of this difference in our parenting techniques. Please help me deal with this.

My child is 11 years old. He is very stubborn and moody. He does what he wishes to without paying any heed to our Instructions or advise . He would not do something when we tell him to do so but would do the same thing a few days later on his terms and conditions. For example. He is lazy and doens't take bath everyday. But these days he has been bathing everyday at 2-3 am at night. I don't know how to deal with him. Should we get strict with him or let him be? Is this behaviour normal for his age?

Madam mere bacche ko daant sehan nahi hoti. Daant padtey hi woh aur chidchida ho jata hai . Woh 6 and a half years ka hai. Par uska behaviour dekh kar mujhse gussa control nahi hota. Ghar ke Kaam ka pressure ki wajha se bhi sara gussa us par nikal jata hai. Mai kaise shaant rahu aur mera beta bhi theek se vyavahar karey, aisa kuch batayein.

Hello! Madam my son and daughter have been losing their cool very quickly these days. Anything could trigger them and they start fighting on petty issues. Their fights begin with arguments and then they hit each other with whatever they can grab. I work from home . I am unable to spend much time with them. When is the right time I should intervene so that it doesn't reach that level? They are 8 and 10 years old.
