My child is 13 years old. He is not at all serious about studies. Since he is our only child I have lot many expectations from him. During online classes he keeps on playing games on other tabs .He doesn't study at all due to which I scold him a lot. But my husband scolds me instead of scolding him and takes his side. This hurts me a lot and is leading to lot of differences between both of us. I want to put an end to this and enter the new year with a new vision and better ability in handling situations rather than getting hurt myself. How can I change the circumstances and bring some positivity in my home environment?

Hello doctor, my son is of 5. Last 9months he was attending online karate classes. From next month onwards actual classes will begin. They have given both the options. I want my son to attend it in actual with all the necessary precautions. But my husband is against it. How can I convince him in this matter. In Online classes my son is not at all attentive. Please help me.

Hello Doctor I am the mother to a 5 year old child. My husband is a businessman , he always goes out due to his work and at home also he is always busy on phone. he hardly gives time to me and our child. He never plays with him or spends time with him. Will it have an impact on my child and how can this impact be minimised as I have tried many a times to talk him in this regard but it didn't help.

These days I remain anxious and overconcerned about my family's health in the wake of this pandemic. I believe the situation is not going to get better anytime soon. I always have thoughts in my mind what if anyone of us become COVID positive. I am also pasisng on my anxieties to my children by overreacting at times. I don't want to enter the new year with such negative thoughts. How can I stop overthinking and remain positive and take life as it comes. My children are 12 year and 7 year old respectively.
