Hello! I have two children aged 12 and 9 years respectively. Of late i have noticed many changes in them which sometimes make me feel have I gone wrong somewhere in grooming my children. Inspite of all my effforts to structure their day, involve them in planning their routine, praising them for all their positive deeds, they are just not ready to stick to the schedule, help me with household chores or follow instructions. I have tried talking to them calmly, scolded them, stopped talking to them but nothing seems to work. Also I would like to mention this has been a recent behavioral change which I have been observing during this lockdown. please guide what should be my next step.

My child who is 6 years old and happens to be my only child has since the beginning of this pandemic started to behave weirdly. he plays in his room on his iPad almost most of the day, shouts or answers back on being told to stop playing. All my pleas to make him study, eat, bathe, sleep on time has been falling on deaf ears. please note my husband and I are working and stick to a fixed schedule, so their are no role models. Please guide me as coping with him is becoming challenging for me with each passing day.

I have noticed my daughter has developed few negative habbits like she is now more aggressive, if I scold her she cry in very loud voice which in actual is not crying it just she is very loud.
