Hello, I am 34 years old and have been diagnosed with pcos since 6years, and hypothyroidism since 8years. I am on medication for both. I am Insulin resistant, and losing weight is my biggest challenge, which in turn affects my pcos and thyroid. I maintain a clean diet(no sugar or substitutes) as far as possible and exercise 5days a week. Also have been maintaining 12hrs of fasting through the day everyday, I find it hard to do more than that. I still cannot manage to lose weight at all, and my periods are now spaced at every 40 to 50 days, which is frustrating. I take 1700mg of Metformin per day since years, but I've heard conflicting reviews of whether it really works or not. I'm not sure what more I can do to manage my symptoms, lose weight and get my periods on schedule. Kindly suggest. Thanks!
