Hello Dr, my baby is one month old. Due to my c section I had difficultly in Breast feeding baby in intial days. As I and my husband are alone, hospital has recommended to started with formula milk as my baby drinking capacity was on high side. But now I am giving her Mix Feeding ( 5 times BM direct/ express... 4 times FM) 1) Dr my concern is now baby is not able to latch properly, while giving BM directly I need to put nipple shield... It is safe to use nipple shield. 2) second question is dr, as baby grow month on month, how much ml of milk should be increased monthly. Now my baby have around 90-100 ml feed at a time. ( In a day 9-10 feeding in a time gap of 2. 30 hrs). And what should be time period between each feeding as baby grow.
