Hello Doctor ! My friend is 6 months pregnant. She has gestational diabetes. She is on insulin. Is there any possibility for the baby to get affected ? Please also suggest diet routine that she should follow till delivery?

My sister is 27 weeks pregnant according to LMP. Her ultrasound report shows her to be 24 weeks pregnant. Why is there a lag and which gestational age is correct? Does that mean baby is not growing properly and is lagging by 3 weeks? What can she do to cover up this lag?when can she expect her delivery according to LMP? Kindly guide.
