Hello Ma'am! I am a single parent and I am raising two girls aged 10 and 7 years old. Since I am not financially well off, I am not able to meet additional requirements of my girls such as fancy items like costly dresses, outings, dining out etc. As a result I feel my girls have been feeling underconfident when they are with their friends. Though they don't compain to me ever, but I can make out that our finacial condition is affecting them somewhere . What should I do to help them overcome their these feelings? Thanks 🙂🙏🏻

Hello Ma'am! My daughter is 8 years old. She has seen us argue all the time as my husband and I are completely two Opposite personalities. Though I try to control my anger whenever my daughter is there, but I am just not able to as he keeps on Complaining about me in front of my daughter which irritates me. Will all this have an impact on her? What do I do to control my anger? When I don't answer back, I feel I get angry inside which comes out unintentionally on my child? I do not want my child to witness all this, but one thing leads to another. Please guide.

How can a single mother raise an independent child who is confident as well as smart? I want my son who is 13 years to face the world boldly. He has been raised by me as my husband passed away when he was just 5 years old. There has not been a single day when he doesnt ask me questions about his father. He misses him all the time. As he is growing older he wants his father more to be around him. What should be my role to help me with this?

My brother is a single parent of two children aged 11 and 9. He got divorced when they were just small, elder one was 4 years and younger one was just around 1 year old . My brother got the custody of children as their mother has depression and is financially dependent. Since then the paternal grandparents, and my brother have been taking care of them. My question to you is, that children ask us qustions about their mother, off and on. They keep asking us why she left them and what happened to her? Should we tell them the truth or just lie to them about their mother as when they grow older they will find out about her .
