Allergens that causes asthma are in the air. With increase in levels of pollution, the symptoms also increases. Also the Pollutant in air also act as irritants. If symptoms worsens when you go out in unhealthy environment and otherwise if the child is okay, that means air pollution is affecting the health of your child. 2015-09-02 14:59:59

Once my son had asthma symptom so he was using nebulizer for a week.Frequently he has dryness inside his nose. One of the ENT doctor has prescribed to apply neomycin ointment and to massage his nose. The doctor told us he has nose nerves were weak.He usually feels better after using it.Most of the time he has nose bleeding. If he sleeps under the bed his nose will block so he would cover his nose with a hankerchief and sleep. Please suggest some remedies for his problem. If i am not wrong this is all because of air pollution.

Now again he has frequent and severe cough with climate change. No one has asthma in my family. Please explain what is happening to his health. Thank you Swetha

Eat healthy and fresh fruits and vegetables, keep yourself well hydrated are good practices to stay away from frequent respiratory problems. Make sure you have a clean house. Make it dust free by removing all the carpets and rugs. Installing Air Purifiers may be a good idea. 2015-09-02 15:34:37

My 4 year old son gets cold and cough every month and it takes atleast 15 days to reduce. His cough worsens very badly that he vomits each and every time. He gets cold with a slight climate change also. Nebulising and alopathic medicines are not working for him. What could be the reason for this cough?

He may be suffering from some sort of allergies. You may try anti-allergics apart from Nebulisation. You must see a Pediatrician for this problem. 2015-09-02 14:54:00

My son is 5 yrs old and suffers from allergy which triggers cold and cough and aggravates where he has to be nebulised...this has been going through for last 4 years. now his pediatrician has started pushing for asthalin puff, which me and my husband are not very keen to start as we feel that this way our son might get used to of it. Though his conditions have improved with his ongoing Homeopathic treatment. But how can we help him develop immune so he can fight the allergic condition?

Inhalers are very safe medicines when used under doctors' supervision. The child does NOT get used to Inhalers. This is a myth. 2015-09-02 15:36:53
