Hi Darshana, I hope you are doing well. Yes, it's healthy to add potato to the dinner but make sure it is twice in a week at the max. In vegetarian options, you could include- 1 )Dal chawal 2) Veg Khichdi 3) Dal khichdi 4) Home-made fried rice 5 ) Dal soup/vegetable soup 6) Moong chilla/ besan chilla with green chutney 7) Daliya khichdi/pulao 8) Poha/upma 9) Curd rice 10) Lemon rice, chickpeas pulao or paneer pulao. 2020-03-31 14:07:43

Hi Aqsa, I hope you are doing well. Here is a diet for your child. No additional health drink is required for her :) If she is eating this diet well, then you won't have to add anything else. Hi Snehal, I hope you are well. Yes, it is normal these days and most children turn assertive by this age and know what they like pretty well. Give her small pieces at a given time and feed her in intervals. Here is a diet for her. Breakfast- 1 Cup milk + 1 mini sandwich/2 small chilla/1 Bowl veggie oats/1 Beetroot or carrot paratha Mid-morning- 1 Fruit + 1 Tsp peanut butter Lunch- 1 Roti with sabzi or Dal chawal, khichdi and kadhi, Fried rice, vegetable pulao/biryani Snack- 1 Fruit/1 Glass milkshake/Paneer Tikki/home-made bread pizza Dinner- Same as lunch OR 1 Dosa/uttapam/2 idlis/pasta with veggies/wheat noodles with veggies/vegetable daliya 2020-03-31 14:14:53

Hi Hoorain, I hope you are well. Are you able to express enough breast milk? There are chances that his tummy isn't full or he isn't satisfied with the feed. Hi Pritika, I hope you are doing well. It is not known as to how long the virus can survive on fruits or vegetables. However, whenever you get any fruits or vegetables home, wash them under running water for about a minute or place it in lukewarm water for a while, wipe it and let it dry for few hours before you use it :) 2020-03-31 14:34:25

Hi Mounika, I hope you are well. Please see your child's doctor as he would be able to guide you better on the same :) For gas, colic is common in infants and you must allow him to burp after every feed. I would like to know what protein rich food I can give? though I give one bowl of daal daily, stuffed paratha or use spinach, beetroot, fenugreek leaves to make the dough of paratha. I also ensure giving weekly ragi chapati and adding jaggery to diet what else can i do?Also do you think giving flax seed at this age is not good? or what should be the quantity to give flax seeds to child.

Here are some foods that you can add to the diet- - Paneer paratha - Paneer pulao/khichdi with paneer - Dal khichdi - Curd rice - Moong dal chilla/besan oats chilla - Chickpeas pulao - Kadhi chawal - Daliya with beans - Beans soup/ paneer soup/moong soup - Dal paratha - Fruits with crumbled paneer and nuts - Protein balls (dates, chia seeds) Yes, you can give 1/4th tsp off of flaxseeds in a day with a glass of milk. 2020-03-31 14:47:46

I hope you are doing well. Milk is to be given twice in the day, once in the morning and once before bedtime. Please avoid giving milk with meals :) You must give a cup of milk at a given time, not more than 250 ml at a given time. 2020-03-31 15:01:32

Hi Santoshi, I hope you are doing well. You can feed him ragi thrice in a week and rest of the days you feed him oats or daliya. Yes, his weight is good but avoid feeding him juices, it is't good for his health. You can feed fresh fruits rather (mashed or pureed). Give him this diet.
