Back pain if often caused due to wrong posture and too much slouching. Sit straight while working. Consult your doctor for prescription of appropriate supplements as a deficiency of calcium and vitamin D often causes backache. You should also do some back flexibility exercises such as yoga. 2020-04-17 14:04:00

Firstly you should take appropriate supplements particularly calcium and vitamin D supplements as a deficiency of these can cause bodyache and backache. Keep your back straight and maintain an erect posture while feeding the baby and while working. Start exercise or yoga under your doctor's guidance. Consult your doctor for an assessment and advice. 2020-04-17 14:17:31

Some stretch marks may fade away gradually on their own. You can do light massage with a good natural oil such as coconut or olive oil or a good moisturiser. Drink plenty of fluids orally to keep yourself hydrated. Exercise regularly and eat a healthy balanced diet. Some of the stretch marks may not disappear completely, you can consult a skin specialist for advanced skin treatment for stretch marks. 2020-04-17 14:21:58

An ideal gap between two children is 2.5 to 3 years to give time for complete healing. So, you may try again when your baby is atleast 2 yrs old. 2020-04-17 14:31:55

Speak to your doctor who is looking after you for seizure disorder , as the medicines for appropriate seizure should ne given in pregnancy and not stopped altogether. Also speak to a gynaecologist for prescription of appropriate tests and ultrasound. You should eat small portions of easily digestible homemade food, avoid spicy, fried and heavy food, Chinese food, papaya and pineapple, outside food, coffee, fizzy drinks, alcohol and smoking. Take adequate rest and sleep. Avoid Health Drink in first three months of pregnancy. Avoid travelling, heavy work, weights. Lastly , avoid stress completely, maintain social distancing and good hand hygiene and do not step out of home unless absolutely essential. All the best 2020-04-17 14:40:00

Periods may be delayed for upto 6 months when you are feeding the baby. If it has been 11 months, then Firstly, rule out a pregnancy. If it is negative , then you should speak to your doctor for assessing other causes of irregular periods such as thyroid disturbance or PCOS. Your doctor will also prescribe appropriate corrective medicines and medicines to regulate periods. 2020-04-17 14:35:20

You need to get an ultrasound do e for this to check for lining of the uterus. You should also consult a gynaecologist for appropriate hormonal tests. If all this is normal, then generally, there will be nothing to worry regarding the periods. Consult your doctor for appropriate assessment and tests. 2020-04-17 14:43:35

Hello doctor...i suffer from severe rashes in my underpant region following the slightest moist environment .even after urination. am required to change Health Drink every 3-4 hours . or use sanitary napkin regularly. tried using pH control intimate wash too but of no use. Consulted a dermatologist too..but didn't work either. am frustrated. kindly help

Dr Pooja Mittal
It could be due to an infection of the intimate area, which needs to be examined and treated. Generally, both partners need to be treated to prevent reinfection. You need to visit a gynaecologist for this. You should also get your blood sugars checked, high blood sugars can cause this problem. Keep the area dry, wear cotton Health Drink, also change the brand of sanitary supplies that you use. Sometimes, an irritation from these can cause rash. 2020-04-17 14:47:39

Hi it has been 5 months since i had my C section but i still feel a tingling effect near my scar plus i feel a current like thing in uterus sometimes. plus i gained 12 kgs and didn't loose a single kg although I'm breastfeeding. Also is there any risk if i opt for normal delivery in my second pregnancy if there are no complications like breech.

Dr Pooja Mittal
You need to consult your doctor for checkup of the wound are as you are having discomfort and tingling. To lose weight , you have to follow a healthy diet and also do regular exercise, only breastfeeding may not suffice. You can opt for a second delivery normally, but some complications may increase such as increased incidence of labour induction failure and cesarean section . Your doctor will guide you regarding the best approach to deliver the baby in that case. 2020-04-17 15:05:11

Although an X ray is not good for the developing baby, however, the dose of radiation from a single x ray generally doesn't cause harm to baby as it is too low. You should speak to your doctor regarding the same for appropriate tests. Get a level 2 ultrasound also. 2020-04-17 15:07:25
