Let's Talk About Autism: Signs, Treatment & Family

"All of us are a little different from each other. If we don't take Autism as a big hue and cry and as parents if we accept the fact that our child is developing a little differently and has different needs, it won't be difficult to bridge the gap. Only a therapy isn't enough, the whole family's participation is important for the child's development," says Dr Himani Khanna, Developmental Behavioural Paediatrician, Continue Kids. On this World Autism Awareness Day, recognised on April 2, we seek to raise awareness on ASD. You might have come across a child with Autism in your neighbourhood, or a child who gets distressed at a mall, and, you may have heard about Autism Spectrum Disorder. But what can you do take a step forward and to celebrate the different but NOT less. Watch this video to know more about signs, treatment and how can a family help a child with Autism thrive in the society.
