Raw Mango Summer Recipes For Your Toddlers

Mango is definitely the king of all fruits.Moreover it is a versatile fruit.Be it a salty dish or a sweet one it can absolutely work wonders.Mango is one fruit which is loved by children and you need not coax them to eat mangoes.They can simply relish it anytime anyday.However when it comes to raw mango,not many kids are fond of it.Hence here are few recipes which shall make sure that your kids become raw mango friendly!
Raw Mango Raita-
Ingredients-
- 1 ½ Cup Yogurt
- 1/4th cup Raw mango,finely chopped
- 1 Tsp grated jaggery
- 1/4th tsp roasted jeera powder
- A pinch of black salt
Method-
- Peel and chop the raw mango into fine pieces and set aside
- In a bowl add rest of the ingredients and mix well
- Now add raw mango pieces and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes
Raw Mango Chutney-
Ingredients-
- 1 Raw mango,peeled and chopped
- Handful mint leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4th black salt
- ½ inch ginger
- Water
Method-
- In a blender add all the ingredients and blend well
- Refrigerate it and serve cold
Raw Mango Rice
Ingredients-
- 1 Cup cooked rice
- 1/4th cup raw mango,grated
- 1 Tsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp soaked urad dal
- 1 Tbsp soaked chana dal
- A pinch of rock salt
- 1 Tbsp chopped coriander
- 1/4th tsp turmeric powder
Method-
- In a pan add vegetable oil and then add the soaked dals
- Saute the dals till soft
- Now add turmeric powder and sauté for 2 minutes more
- Add in grated raw mango and cook for few minutes
- Then add cooked rice ,mix well
- Add in the rock salt and coriander leaves,mix well
- Raw mango rice is ready
Aam Panna
Ingredients-
- 2 raw mangoes
- 2 Tbsp jaggery
- 1/4th tsp black salt
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
- 1 Tsp jeera powder
- 1 Cup water
Method-
- Firstly you need to boil the mangoes till soft, the skin change undergo discoloration
- Let it cool, then peel of the skin and squeeze out all the pulp
- Mix all the ingredients together and then blend well,remember to add water while blending
- You can refrigerate the aam panna for some time and then serve it in shot glasses
