My father passes away when I was 1. 5 Yrs. old and since the time I have grown up I had no idea what it means to have a father. I had seen everyone even now and then talking about their dads. I missed the fun and time they spend with their dads but I actually never realized what it means to have a father and what it means not having one except getting emotional when the topic of father is discussed .I used the word Papa for the first time when I got married. Yes my father- in- law is my father, my Hero. My husband is his only child so he loves me like his daughter. He is happy doing all little things he would have done for her own daughter if he had one. So I am my father-in law’s favorite. I don’t know how my father would have been but I don’t think he would have cared for me any less than my father-in –law does. The little things make your life memorable. He takes care of my likes and dislikes. He asks my opinion of every small things. He remembers to appreciate every good thing that I cook. He gets the vegetables and sweet of my choice. The best I remember is when I was expecting my daughter. He would bring different things to eat every day in the evening including pani puri, chaat , ice-cream and it was real fun everyday . He would keep a check that I take every medicine on time. Whenever we would come home doctor’s visit he would super excited to know the details of the healthiness of the child. I remember his eyes going wet when he had seen the first ultrasound. Of course the major attention has now diverted to my little daughter. But I am proud to say that he is now playing the role of an awesome grandfather. I know he must have been a great father as I have found a great man in his son who is eventually turning a great father for my daughter. I am truly blesses to get a father cum father-in –law and indeed he is my hero in life.

Papa Having a father like you is the greatest blessing in my life. You have made our entire family, entire community proud by being elected as the mayor of city. You are not a teacher, but you taught me the most valuable things in life, how to live a worthy life. You are not a doctor but you have always been there when I was not feeling well and prayed to take the sickness away. You are not a soldier but you face battle forces, you have been the best protector. You are not a fairy but you reach for the stars above yo make my wishes and dreams come true. Papa, thank you for telling me what I’m capable of. For giving me the support that I needed to build a dream to chase after. Thank you for understanding when I take a leap of faith. And for supporting me in my journey even if it doesn’t seem logical at times. Thanm you for showing me what hard work looks like. For showing me that nothing c omes easy, and that countless hours of blood, sweat and tears really does pay off. Papa, thank you for showing me how a man should treat a woman. For proving that chivalry isn’t dead, and giving me baseline expectations for the very least of what I should accept. Thank you for showing me true love in its rarest form, what it feels like, and how it can extend beyond life’s obstacles and challenges. Without you, I’d be nowhere near the person I am – and the person I’m still working on becoming. The best gift you have given me is being my father. Love you papa.

Name of care, idealism, support, hardworking, affection etc. etc. so many words come in my mind when word Father comes in front of me. As bringing up in middle class family where all things matter a lot because of scarcity of money but nevertheless I remember that my father denied a single objection on things which we demanding. Only one thing is taught in my childhood Do whatever you want but don't cross ur limits. I remembered that particular day when at tjme of my post graduation entrance exams I was very sick even could not able to move & frightened very much At that time As always support Papa came in front and give me support not by emotional but upto bringing tp university and give exam. I got fourth rank in university just because of support papa gave me. Now I m at a good position in society being a working woman which is independent just because of u Papa. Whenever we demanded money for education there wss not a single Na, Bas yahi kehna tha Beta khub pdna. I love you so much Papa even don't have such dictionary of words by which I can explain Papa ki pari hu mein. Shayad itna pyar koi nahi kar sakta..... May God give u a healthy life, Get well soon papa, I pray to God to keep u happy always. Early memories of my father are rather different than the usual types. I don't remember him as a doting one. My mum once told me that, when we were babies(me nd my sis) he would just give a kiss, lift us once or twice and go about his work. I don't remember being hugged by my dad. He was quite strict with us. He had a perfect way of arranging things. there was nothing hapazard about him. We were supposed to keep things the way they should be. everything perfecty arranged. My father has three obsessions one books, other music and the third coffee. I am an avid reader(like my father) if u ask me when did I start reading I hv no answer. I dont know I had just fallen in love with my father's book shelf. He would bring books as gift from where ever he went. Everyday of our childhood, we would wake up to the voices of amazing classical singers and a strong aroma of fresh ground coffee. My sister inherited his love of music. And coffee, well yeah we both love a good cuppa. Though I loved him for the love of his books, for his values and morale which are imbibed in us because of him, I could say I was never close to him or talked to him much. Nevertheless as I got older I learnt he isnt much of a talker, he doesnt know how to converse with kids. his own kids. But we had a great deal of conversation, debates, everything as I grew up. I learnt how good he was at his work and how he held on to his values even at the most difficult times. I left what I was studuing in the middle. He was so supportive. It burnt a huge hole in his purse. he didn't care. All he cared was my happiness. Made me join my preferred field. When I did well he was very happy, a proud father. Now he has become a doting super caring grandpa to two little boys, who make him smile with their little tricks. He will be sixty this December. Will be leading a retired life from coming Jan. My father doesn't look like those hero dads whom we see in T. V and magazines . He is hardly in peak of his health, he gets tired easily, his stomach gives him a hard time. However, he is a wonderful humanbeing. A hero who taught us to be kind, loving, helpful and at the same time bold and to be true to ourselves. Appa I understand now, how doting you are and you were, you cared for such small things, took us to so many places, got us many things, taught us heaps, created a wonderful childhood for us. YOU ARE MY HERO. LOVE YOU APPA. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY. Siri Hulikal

#MyFatherMyHero "Suffering is a stepping stone for genius. " is one of my father's favorite phrases. My father made the biggest impact during my childhood, he was there to guide me to success which left a positive influence on me. Unlike any other parent, my father took on double amounts of work and was still able to provide his daughters with care. He has always told me that no matter how hard your day may seem it will always get better if you think positive, and from that I have learned to always keep my head up and try my hardest at everything I do. My dad would stay up all night just to help me with school work, he would do the silliest thing to make me laugh .My father has given me a sense of strength and a huge amount of self confidence. He has sacrificed so much for me and has shaped me into the woman I am today. Words cannot express the things my father has done for me. Not only is he a father he is a hero, my hero.

My father my hero... Indeed!! Papa, dad, daddy, father he has different names to call by but one thing that comes out of all is " love , affection and care " . He is the backbone of my life. A girl becomes independent not beacuase of society but the support and trust of her father. I need him in every phase of my life to support me or to pick me up whenever i fall down. How can i forget his restless nights and his sacrifices that he made , just to make me happy. I wish i can do aleast 1/4 of what he has done for me ,to make him happy. But no one can actually do this as their love cant be measured and paid. This is just UNCONDITIONAL. I love my dad to the moon and back . I want to hold his finger for the entire lyf which ensures me of definite happiness. I want thoe protective hands round me so that no one can dare to harm me. Yes MY DAD MY HERO .... My SUPERHERO.

Hello I'm a little girl just 6 months still small to express my feelings so my mummy is going to express my feeling for my father through my eyes. The day I was conceived in my mother's womb I felt the love of my father though he was miles away from us I always felt his love through my mother's ears, he came closer to me wen it was my 9th month in mummys womb, he felt my touch through the stomach n spoke to me often he was all excited to meet me sooner the day I was born he was the first one to hold me n though I couldn't open my eyes much but I felt his love through his touch and his first kiss to me from the day I was born he never left me alone having sleepless nights and sacrificing his time for me it's was sad though he had to go far away from me for his Work and I always missed his touch and love, I wait for his call to hear his voice and that brings a smile on my face n today I'm 6 months old your lil Angel I thank u Daddy dear for giving me this life filled with your Love. Now I know how much God loves me coz he gave me you Love u Daddy come home soon..

#MyFatherMyHero "A girl may not be a queen to her husband but always a princess for her Father..... I have found my prince but my father is always a king" My Father never says.. but do, He was there to spill tears of happiness when his eyes fall upon his infant daughter. He was there with arms to catch me when I took first steps or stumbles. He was there to hug and kiss me on my first days of school. He was there to see me become a working woman, to walk down the aisle and let me accomplish my dreams.. I would like to thank you for being backbone and strong pillar to our small family. Your firm decisions and support have made me to get to where i am today. Even if I set right direction to my children 50% of what you have done for me, I will be very happy. I have high respect and regard to you and mother for providing me such a wonderful gift of life. I will definitely follow the basic values you have set for our family and would like our next generation to follow. I sincerely hope you are happy and proud of your children as to what they are today. I always want to be your children only, every single birth I get, every single breathe I take, every single moment I spend. BE MY FATHER ALWAYS!!!

During our growing up years, I distinctly remember, how my dad would seldom lecture us on how to be responsible or to work hard to earn our luxuries, but would put these values to practice, helping us realize the value of the things we use or have on our own. If we wanted a holiday with friends for the summer, when we were in college, dad would tell us, how he thought, it was time to earn our holiday, and he would pay for it, only as long as we managed to earn half of it, before the given day. While he would often concede to pay for our trip even if we earned less than half, the lessons learnt were always in full. With many of his little tricks, he taught us to be responsible without nagging. He gave us incentive to think for ourselves without ever imposing his point of view too strongly. He pushed us in the right direction, when we needed the nudge, but then he would leave us alone once he saw that we had begun to figure out the answers for ourselves. Making us feel both protected and independent in equal measure!  I am thankful to my father for having taught me the most important life lessons in his quintessential silent and nonchalant way! To dads everywhere, grappling with the ropes of recent fatherhood, and to those who are now reveling in the joys of having brought up wonderful children, and all those in between, I would like to wish you a very Happy Father’s Day!

My Father is not only hero simply I can say he is god's gift, he is everything to me. Today if am in this stage means credit completely goes to my dad. From the day of my birth he started sacrificing, comprising his wishes, interests, time everything to see smile on my face. One sentence with loads of voice I can say Not only my father every father's thought, love, care, whatnot everything about their children's only. We cannot say in words, the love and care taken by every father. Simply I cannot say in a sentence why my father is hero to me, every minute his hard work for me only and he sacrifices his time, money, interests, love, hard work everything for me and to my family. Without parents nothing is possible and nothing is there in our lifetime. Love you a lot dad and love u mom. Am very proud to say you as my dad.

Just like every child, my father is my Hero. He is very kind, caring and a loving father. My mother used to tell me how my father cares when i was a little baby. when I was in my nursery class, we had sports meet and i was expected to run in the ground. My father was like "oh my god how can i let my tiny tot run in this ground. what if she gets hurt". If permitted he would have even carried me in his arms to complete the running race. My father tells me bed time stories to make me sleep. Im now missing thise stories as he has started working in night shifts. I pray to god my super dad should get back to regular shifts so that our story time continues...

I would like to thank you to my papa on this father’s day for giving me such a wonderful life. My father is really such a nice person and I must say that he is a real hero for me. He is not a famous personality for the world, but for me, he is my whole world. I remember whenever I opened my eyes, I saw my father is working hard for me and my brother. My father got such a very beautiful heart. From my childhood, I always notice his helping nature. He visits orphanage and distributes lots of books and other things to the small kids. He always encouraged me by saying “TO DO SOMETHING FOR OTHERS, AND YOU WILL FEEL INNER PEACE”. Really, it works. I am the happiest daughter in this world because he taught me the way of living the life independently and happily. I would like to dedicate this message to my father on this father’s day “My father is my anchor, who protects me against the wind of the difficult time. My father is my torch who, shows me the light in the dark. My father is my caretaker, who cares and loves me without any condition. My father is my teacher, who teaches me good morals. My father is my best friend, who always stands with me. In a nutshell, my father is my protective shield, who helps me in growing and shining in this world” THANK YOU ! Papa for everything

No, my father is not my role model, he is not my hero, he is not my friend!!!! He is my father who taught me real meaning of life. He took care of family when it was needed the most. So, he is superb human being who taught some great values in life. When I born people said, "girl child" and he said, "my child". When my mother conceived second time, people said do sonography and check gender as you already have one girl child and if its girl abort it. He resisted saying, "whatever be the gender, I will not do gender test. " And my parents were blessed with baby boy (my brother). He was equally happy for both of us, always. But yes he loved me more always. When I was 11 year old and in 6th standard, during Diwali vacation at my uncle's place my mother got paralysed with brain haemorrhage. That day was the and still is the worst day of my life. My mother was the most beautiful daughter to her parents and most beautiful daughter in law and my father was equally handsome, so all in all a beautiful pair. But in paralysis, my mother's complete right side got effected along with face. My father cried, first I saw him crying and then every day for next 15 days he was crying till my mother was in hospital. Doctor said, do operation, “No GAURANTEE, No chance of survival. ” Again, he denied, “Let my wife be like this, I WANT HER FOR MY CHILDREN. ” Then my father did what I never expected any man can do for women. He changed her clothes, bathed her, cleaned her hair, gave her medicine, washed her undergarments, helped her in her periods, and gave her support what she required. In real terms he was proving “A BEST LIFE PARTNER. ” Some even gave suggestion “REMARRY”, I was surely frightened. What will happen to me, my mom and my brother? But, NO, he was ok with wife who has paralysis, who can’t sit on her bike like before, can’t wear beautiful sari, and can’t do her hairs like early days. He was happy her wife is alive, mother of children is alive, and his family is still there. Children are not motherless. After coming home, what my mother use to do for me, he did. My tiffin’s, my homework and even help me coping with my course. Once my aunt said, “CUT HER LONG HAIR. Her mother can’t do anything now, she can’t manage long hair. ” My father said, “I will manage. ” AND HE DID. Till my pregnancy I had long hairs, (which regrettably I cut, still guilty!!!). He use to oil and wash my hairs happily. Again relatives said, marry your daughter early, your wife can’t do anything and burden will be less. He made sure, I study, I enjoyed with my friends, had normal life like nothing is serious at home. I pursued two professional degree. Thanks to him. I use to see my parents disagree on many issues but after one incident, I saw my father standing with my mother on all fronts. Disagreement still persists, but supports continues. He is my father, who made compromises for us for my family for my mom without expecting much. He reinstated my faith on relations, he taught me, carry relations they are not burden, you may get fool but not guilty that you didn’t tried. I feels proud to have born as his daughter. He taught me world is not easy place to live, fight hard for survival, stay positive and above all, DON’T LEAVE FAMILY. He made me. So, he’s not my superhero, nor my role model neither my friend he is simple human being who taught me some basic values to live a life with peace happiness and together ness , a man who saved a three life, who saved a FAMILY! He is God for me.

Standing like a strong wall to protect us even today when he is a wonderful Grand father to my twin babies. I have learnt love from my parents, have learnt to enjoy life, have learnt that every single day of small happiness is far more than what money can count. The fact that my husband wants to be like my dad in itself speaks what my father is all about... so well I was and am my father's princess and will continue to be my husband's queen since they both come with a lot of similarities... He always wanted me to go in good direction he always used to share things and whenever I ask for something small things he gave me the better, the best things. He always allowed me what I want he let me do, what I say that is correct, what I see that is truth, He always chose the correct ones for me, He thinking nature, ideas about what to so for me, what to give me, how to everything has one name that LOVE towards me... Whenever I have done something mischievous also he never shown his anger towards me... He never allowed me to cry for any reason. He is my strength, energy and encouragement to everything now I am. Even I asked for my husband whom I love, without any reason he is the one who supported for my choice of life... Today I am a mom and even today the way he cares and love my a month old daughter I seem what I have missed myself when I was born I can see now my daughter in his hands and the way he care for her, the way he makes her sleep, the way he sings for her, talks to her, tell stories to her... God has given me a wonderful gift that is my dad, who always loves me ,cares about me, strengthen me, teach me, fight with me, encourages in all my activities, supports me, motivates me, his passion is to see me happy and smile forever. He never believe in going to a Temple or Gurudwara to pray. He would rather give lift to a person standing in the middle of the road on a scorching hot day and go out of way to drop him to his destination than going to a holy place. His heart full of good deeds are his temple. I wish I so can be like him. If all else fails in life, If I try and don't Succeed, If I rise to the top, I will always remember to be proud to be who I am, my true self no matter what... and all thanks to my Father. He has cultivated important values of hard work, humility, and respect (for others) in me. I’m truly, truly, blessed to have a father like him and I love him with all my heart. I am taking this as an opportunity to show my love and gratitude to my dearest father. He is a great inspiration to me, a person who taught me to love nature as well as fellow human beings. A person who taught me that life is not about winning or losing but living it in a meaningful way. A person who taught me that to cry when you lose is not a sign of weakness but strength. To get up and go on even when you fall and to be hopeful everyday. Taught me that irrespective of the job anyone holds each person is a respectable member of the society who contributes to its well being. To 'love what you' do and to 'do everything for you' and not because others want you do it is the first step to success. Love and accept everyone for who they are and not who you want them to be. He showed me through his life that accepting your 'self' and accepting others with all the flaws makes life more enjoyable and peaceful. A person who loves his self is capable of loving others for who they are. And last but not the least that your happiness does not depend on what happens or the way other treat you. It depends on you. You are the person who determines your happiness. Happy Father's Day!!!

The first and the most important person in any family is Father. He works hard and because of his efforts only all other members in the family are able to survive. Fathers have great responsibility of each and every member their family. Right from education up to the settlement of his children’s life, he does a great job of responsible person. The major role of father is to take care of his family and do hard work for them. From childhood, father fulfills your each and every wish. He does a lot of hard work to complete your dream. when my dreams lay pushed aside for a while It was his number I would enter in the phone and dial, For he taught me, that while days may seem grim If I persevered, then in some unfathomable way I would win! And win I did in ways unimaginable Thanks paa for always being there .... u always ll b my superhero.

We are 2 kids, me being the elder one and a younger brother, but he always took me as his son and taught me to be bold and strong enough to move around freely & confront anyone and anything specially in a city like Delhi. He always takes pride in my achievements and boasts about it and that forces me to make him proud. MY FATHER can understand my silence, all my pains and tears and to be very honest I do every that thing which can bring a smile on his face.. He helped me in studies whenever he came early from office. He taught me driving and gifted a Scooty to me. When i took decision about my further studies, my marriage, he supported me. so it was my responsibility not to break his trust and also follow my dreams. . Oscar wilde once said "memory is the diary that we all carry about with us" .Memories are like pages of life filled with our own colours . Me and my father used to share a very close bonding ever since I remember. Since my childhood days , he used to drop and pick me up from school. We used to talk on a host of topics on the way home ,be it the homework ,upcoming tests /exams, vacation planning ,the ongoing cricket series ,my demand for a bicycle /video game/I pod etc over the years .He was very honest, hard working and self confident man. During childhood ,whenever I used to pick up fights with my cousins ,i used to have the last word and then run to him because I knew he'd save me, no matter what .We regularly used to go to nearby sports complex where we used to play like best buddies over the years . Discipline and self control were the values he taught me, and it was his habit of perseverance that led me to excel in my studies and co-curricular activities together. I remember when I had my first school debate and stage fright was killing me , he told me to be fearless and to imagine the crowd as your juniors/subordinates who have come to listen because they were unworthy of this stage ,this mic, this opportunity .Go ahead and show them who you are. Believe me, that speech was my best ever .I got a thunderous applause in the end but I knew in reality it was for my dad who made me do it. We had lot of son-father quarrels too. In the end often he used to give in to my request and often the patch up ended up with a surprise treat. Be it helping a family member/friend, be it donating things to the needy,be it keeping a calm and composed posture when times were tough, my father always had a 'never say never' attitude and I repected him for it. I remember when I got selected in my medical entrance tests ,those tears of happiness I saw in his eyes , that confident smile as if his heartfelt wish had come true ,those priceless moments got engraved in my heart forever ,ones I can never forget .Times passed by ,and so did we grow. We laughed together, we shared together, we missed each other while I was away for studies. But when it was his age to reap all the goodies, unfortunately dad got diagnosed with cancer. Doctors told me about the advanced stage of tumour, about poor prognosis but I didn't give up .Afterall dad was my pillar of strength and how could I let it fall without giving my best shot .The best doctors , the best institutes, the best investigations , the best treatment that money could buy, one that's available right now in this world , I provided everything for my dad. After a hard fought battle with cancer ,god decided to end his agony and took him to heaven. It's sad to lose a part of yourself and still keep on living this life. But for all that he was,all that he taught me,I will forever be indebted to him for being the best dad in this world,my hero,my inspiration. I'm proud to be his son. He might not be physically here with me but deep in my heart,in my soul ,he stays with me .....those lovely memories ,those jokes, that laughter ,those picture frames paused in endless happiness.... My father was my hero and will forever be.

Truely said u may or may not be a queen of your husband but will always remain your father's princess. I m very attached to my father as I am what I am today because of him. he never differentiated between me and my brother. My Father helped me choose my career, I remember my relatives and neighbours telling him what he should do , how girls are to be dealt with.. and so on but he always gave a deaf ear to them. He went against all odds to let me study as much i wanted to, as I belong to a family where girls are married soon as they turn 18, he made me the first double post graduate in my entire family. I remember an instance of my childhood when I was in class 6th. It was my physics exam and had not studied well for it. I told my father I am not going to give the exam but he insisted and said to just go and write your name and details and come after 15 mins and I 'll be waiting at the gate. I agreed, but hesitantly. However , I went to the examination hall wrote the name and details and thereafter received the question paper. I read the paper and started attempting it, i knew 80% of the paper and came exactly after 3hrs. My Father smiled at me as I returned to the gate where he was waiting. He taught me a very important lesson" Never leave things without attempting them". Not only this he married me to the person I wanted to marry without thinking of the society as I had an inter caste marriage. He is truely my role model as even after i had a daughter he motivated me to always be independent and should be able to take decisions that are required for her. he made me a person with values, and an Assistant professor ,

Tall, handsome, dashing personality, influencing aura... where even his mere presence spoke louder than many people... that's what I remember when I think of my father! He was in police and that justifies many of his characteristics. The rough n tough man, that we knew as our father was not PERFECT n FIGURED IT ALL types father though! We lost our mother very early... n that was something he couldn't recover from. His occasional alcoholism ( lot courtsey to his profession) became a chronic one... eventually costing him his life. But what he has done for his life... for my mother's n for us.. me n my brother... is what makes him our HERO. A self made man himself, he did what all could be done to save my ailing mother.. but couldn't! Despite being a part of very orthodox n conservative family,he sent my brother to best boarding schools for his studies n got me admitted to a private school. Wherease my cousin sisters all got married around 18 years of their age n bore two children by 20,I completed my studies with distinction, merits n prizes. not just this,he made sure I learnt to drive by I entered 12 class. We lost him when we were about to give our 12 board exams. that year we barely survived but after he went,my brother took his place for me. He fathered me later... quit his studies.. made me complete my bachelor's than masters. Now we both are married n have kids, but I know at heart,he still is a second father to me. So I guess I have two heroes... My dad... with all his weaknesses, his broken soul... certainly not PERFECT but my very own super hero And then my Brother... who after so much struggle in life, now owns a restaurant business and a loving family.... my second super hero! I love them both to soul!

My father is absolutely my hero. Because he use to teach me every thing with lot of patience. He respects my attitude my feelings and my decisions. He is more than a friend to me. We use to fight and laugh together. We enjoy every moment together. Even I got two little kids my dad feels that I'm a little one to him. He loves a lot and cares a lot for me. He helped me a lot be a good mother to my kids. But unfortunately he is not with me. Dad I miss u a lot dad. Without you I'm an empty vessel dad. The world around me is zero to me dad without you. Thank you very much for being my dad.

I admire my Father a lot in everything like caring, restricting like all those. He is much commendable. But there is meaning against all his restrictions. I like is decision making sense which is never been wrong though couldn't accept, will be realised soon with the reaction. Answers with Good sense of humour for all my silly questions. on the whole he is not only Father, he is a good supporter for all my situations.. I will never take his restrictions as strict. will always considered as care towards his child. Though I have a child, it's a very special feeling that I am still treated as a small kid to him, I don't miss my mom too here. Happy Happy Fathers Day Appa.
