Turning Vegan means that you do not eat anything which comes from animal sources namely dairy products, chicken, meat, eggs, honey and fish. Hence if you are looking to raise your child as a vegan, he/she might have to obtain all the nutrients through plant based sources only. But fret not! We have some amazing Vegan dessert recipes for your little one which he/she shall definitely relish. So let’s get started.

Vegan Dessert Recipes

Here Are Some Amazing Dessert Recipes-

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice-Cream

    Ingredients-

  • 2 Frozen bananas
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp home-made peanut butter
  • Pinch of rock salt
  • Few drops of vanilla essence (Optional)
  • 1/4th tsp cinnamon powder

Method-

  • All you need to do is add everything to a blender or food processor and slowly pulse it
  • It might take around 5-6minutes to get mixed evenly
  • Once done you can either serve it fresh or add it to an airtight container and freeze for 4 days

Chocolate And Peanut Butter Energy Bites-

Ingredients-

  • ½ Cup home-made peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1 Cup oatmeal
  • Few drops vanilla essence
  • 2 Tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 2 Tbsp roasted and grounded flaxseeds
  • 1/4th cup dairy free choco-chips

Method-

  • Blend all the ingredients together except for the choco-chips. Make sure everything is evenly mixed
  • Now add the choco-chips, reserve some for later so that you can roll the oats balls in it
  • It’s time to make balls out of the oats dough and roll them into the remaining choco-chips
  • Freeze for about 10-15minutes and then serve

Vegan Fudge-

Ingredients-

  • ½ Cup Almond milk
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 3 Cups of semi-sweet dairy free choco-chips
  • 1/4th cup virgin coconut oil
  • 1/3th cup brown sugar

Method-

  • In a dish place butter paper and grease it well
  • Firstly mix together the sugar and almond milk well in a big bowl
  • Then add coconut milk and whisk a little if required
  • Add the choco-chips and mix well. Do not add virgin coconut oil since it’s not meant to be heated
  • Now in a microwave place the bowl and microwave the mixture for 2-5mins until done. Make sure that the chocolate chips have melted well
  • Once done remove the mixture and let it cool down for few minutes and then add in the virgin coconut oil. Mix well
  • Pour the mixture in the dish and place it in the refrigerator for 3-4hrs

Vegan Cookies-

Ingredients-

  • 2 Cups rolled oats
  • 1 Cup seedless dates, chopped
  • 1/4th cup ground almonds
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4th cup soymilk powder
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Cup dairy free semi sweet choco chips

Method-

  • In a dish place a butter paper and keep this dish in the fridge for about 15-20mins
  • Now in another bowl mix together oats, dates, ground almonds, cocoa powder and soy-milk and set it aside
  • In a double boiler, place the chocolate chips and let them melt. You can also place a bowl over a pan with warm water, but make sure the bowl is bigger than the pan because if the water seeps into the choco-chips, it shall no longer be usable
  • Now mix the oats and melted choco-chips well. Add in the honey and with the help of a scoop or a tablespoon,go on place cookie shaped batter on the dish which was freezed. Remember you need to drop in at least 2 tbsps at a time for proper cookie shape
  • Now place the dish in the fridge for about an hour or so till completely set
  • Serve cold or at room temperature
