5 year son not interested to communicate with others

my son is 5 years old and he is not interested to talk with others. if he starts a conversation he can hold. but not responding to others if he is not interested. how to manage

hi Preetha Krishnamoorthy ! it seems basically he wants to keep out of an argument.. is it so? what are the topics of his Interest.... u could hold discussions on those topics. help him express himself and say out in words how he feels.. u could also share with him basics of carrying an conversation . debate with him on topics.. u could give him lines to learn and he can say his bit when it's his turn to speak,. so gradullay he would learn..
