8 months baby food

Hello mommies, i have 8 months old baby, i m from delhi & its too cold here. can anyone pls suggest me that what should i give him to eat in this season. Once i had given him palak soup but after that he fell ill due to cold & cough. I think he gets easily affected by cold as this is his first winters. So pls help me Mothers. Do suggest me something for him ( if possible then recipies too )  Thanks!!!

Hi Manisha. This is the right age to introduce him to solid food. But it should be mashed or crushed to avoid choking. You could give him a mashed banana or an apple. It can also be that itsy bitsy piece of cheese or paneer as well. You could probably feed him green moong daal which is very rich in proteins. Maybe you could at first start with less quantities just to test whether it's suiting him or not. Hope this helps.

Do not give cheese if he has cold. If u r giving top feed give him at warm temperature.
