CA Namrata, it's too early to use a walker. it will put unnecessary pressure on her tender bones.. these days experts do not recommend use of walkers. having said that u can still consult your doc on this.

is she trying to stand with support at least? if not why r u in hurry? sit back n enjoy ur baby's achievements, dnt hurry or worry.

hi namrata... it's not necessary to use a walker even if ur baby is sitting up or not her own... experts ve suggested on not using a walker as it doesn't allow the thigh muscles n bones to strengthen... no also note that walker will affect the way ur baby would walk otherwise...

yes, agree with all the moms who commented. my baby girl is 9months old n I have not given her walker, even my in law is insisting on it. we learnt how to walk without a walker, we got through our teething without a teether. so it's not mandatory.

ya sometimes it's very hard to make in laws understand anything which is not in favor for a baby..

Its hard as they are brought uo that way so they go by the same belief whereas in todays era kids are so active they learn their own and there is no need for a walker
