Dear Ravi. Babies often have dry skin and may also suffer from baby eczema. My son had excessive dry skin, which would mostly be in patches. He suffered from baby eczema for the first year. The doctor told me that it would slowly go away. I did not use any medicated cream, but instead wiped the areas with a warm wet cloth, did not use much soap on those patches and applied baby lotion at least 3 times a day. You could continue using the solution prescribed by the doctor as it may slowly show results. Also make sure to keep his skin clean and apply moisturizer several times a day. You could also try oil massage once a day but in my experience oil dries out fast leaving the skin more dry. So I always prefer a good baby moisturizer than oil. Hope this helps :)

Thank u very much for ur suggestion. I will try it. But it seems that the moisture solution prescribed by the doctor was suited to my child. Every time we applying it , patches r coming on his skin like chicken pox . Hence at present we stopped it n applying figaro olive oil .

Hi As you mentioned that patches appears on your babies skin, I feel it is more than just dry skin. Probably you should consult a skin specialist too. Anyhow for temporary home remedy you can also try applying a mix of Rogan Josh Almond Oil with Olive and check if it suits your babies skin.
