Hi NJ! You may change the bottle if you spot some wear and tear in the bottle. Similarly, if you feel that the tip of the nipple has been cut way too much then you need to change the nipple as well.

If you bottle feed your child he will fall sick (cold and cough) very often. and his teeth will cine front and he may also develop wheezing because of bottles. Normally Kids used to have adenoids and disappear on its own after few years. But the kids who are bottle fed will have enlarged adenoids (as said by a paediatrician) and get recurrent cold and fever. If the bottles are not sterilised properly it leads to severe bacterial infection also

As my paediatrician suggested, it's advisable to use sterilised spoon and cup to feed milk for babies

ideally cup and spoon is better than bottle feed, because of low chance of infection. But bottle feed is convenient while travelling and easier to feed babies. As the child grows, it is better to switch him to drink from glass.
