hi jaishree ..polio vaccine is one of the most important vaccine.... apart from immunization schedule it is advised to take xtra pilio vaccine during mass coverage vaccination given by government... (pulse polio).. polio vaccine availability is minimal in private hospital but it will b surely available in government hospitals..... being a doctor and my husband being a doctor i wud advise u to go to government hospital for polio vaccination.. nothing to worry about sterilization... because sterilization cold chain is properly maintained for vaccines only in government hospital and primary health centers than in private hospital s.. or else u can even opt for big corporate hospitals..... but polio vaccie will always be available in government hospitals.. thank u... take care

hi Jaishree Chiastha! it's advisable to give both IPV and OPV for better results. please consult your pediatrician to resolve this issue. hope u r giving OPV on Pulse Polio immunisation days.
