hi Ashish Anand! please ensure there is no underlying cause for it such as dryness of skin, or allergic response to the formula feed ( If he is formula fed) or any other irritant in the air by taking an opinion from an expert. u could make your baby wear soft cotton mittens so that he doesn't hurt himself. also if it's due to dry skin, apply Moisturizer. dont worry about the marks, these will disappear with time on their own ,provided these are not infected.. hope this will be of help to u!

Ashish as I mentioned earlier these marks would fade with time so u can leave them as it is. but in case these scratches are deep , there are chances that these could get infected. u might be required to consult your pediatrician regarding the same in that case. Moisturizer is needed if your baby has dry skin and scratches the body due to same. u could use Himalaya baby lotion. hope this will be of help to u!
