Want some suggestions Please... I have a nine month baby, he is not at all social, hates being whereever there are more than 5-6 people, doesn't go to anybody, smiles rarely, always clings to me or his dad, can't tolerate little bit loud sound (whether it is music or someone is talking loud), gets irritated very soon and shows aggression by crying at his topmost voice... does it sound normal?

Hi Apoorva, yes it is completely normal. The babies living in nuclear family are used to with 2 -3 face and when suddenly he see so many strange faces together he feels unsafe. So when such situation comes just hold him in your lap and make him feel comfortable and safe. slowly slowly he will adjust.

yes he cries as soon as he sees anyone new.. or even if he has seen someone number of times as well. i tired to make him social by handeling him to my in-laws but he cries and won't stop anyhow. i am afraid as someone told me to check him for early signs of autism. what else should i notice in his behaviour?

Yes Apoorva autistic (ADHD)child's cry most of time bt due to dis one sign we can't say it's autism , apart frm dis one early sign is head lag wch we can see during 6month of age, head banging ,self oriented etc etc. I suggest u to just visit Neuro paediatrician nd once consult n evaluate him. Dnt worry nd do tc of ur child
