I feel really upset and exhausted and I hope someone can help. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter (nearly 2weeks old) from last week.   For the last few days she doesn't seem satisfied after a feed and is nursing very often (yesterday he barely had 30 mins between feeds) and cries as if there is no milk for her. Thats why we used package milk for baby. Normally she takes 1 hour for feeding.. But still not satisfied and package milk ki 4-5 spoon se vo stisfied hoti hai.. My breasts also seem very soft. And i felt milk production sensation in one breast.. Please tell me what to do

hi Priyanka kaushik ! usually with top feed, breast milk supply goes down. breast milk production is based on demand. the more u would feed, more would be the production. if possible continue with breasfeed only and she would be satisfied with it.

Priyanka kaushik iss tym baby hamesha sote hi h and its gud nothing to worry abt sleep infact jitna soyenge utni developmemt hoti h might b usse gas banti ho check with ur paediatrician. and panic hone se bhi milk production kam hota h . keep urself calm and take plenty of rest it will help in ur milk production. u can take lactonic granules in milk ask with ur doctor first. two to three times if u give powder milk it will not harm. infact my gynae told mei to give powder milk to baby 2 to 3 times so that baby is also happy and i can also take rest. all the best...

hi... if you want to exclusively breast feed then first of all don't get anxious or worrier abt ur milk supply. remain calm and relaxed and it will get better with time. I am a new mother as well and my son will soon be 3 months old, will recommend you to have loads of liquid in your diet like water, daal ka pani, chawal ka pani, have milk atleast 3 times during the day. you can also add mother Horlicks in your milk, it is supposedly good for lactation. also try that during the night whenever baby gets up for feed, you should breastfeed him... feeding in the night is known to be very beneficial for maintaining healthy milk supply. if you still feed your baby is hungry, then there is no harm in giving top feed. eventually you want your babies tummy to be full
