hi Misty Nayak ! please follow a particular schedule.. make sure he doesnt sleep after 6 pm. serve dinner by 7. 30 pm and feed him by 9 pm and put him to bed.. avoid feeding in between.. serve a sip of water instead.. babies breastfeed not only due to hunger but to soothe themselves too .u can feed once early morning say around 4 am or so.

if I give him water he doesn't go off to sleep again until I BF him. so I think he might be hungry. in this way I am not being able to sleep

take help of his father, and he can put him back to sleep. if u would be around, he would not sleep and keep demanding it.. 7-8 hrs of sleep would make both of u fresh and would help in his growth too.. as I suggested earlier , he can be fed once before sleeping and once early morning .this would take care if his hunger pangs..
