Baby wakes up every hour at night

Hii everyone my baby is 6 months old n he wakes up at every hour at night... This is his schedule since last 4 months . I thought after starting semi solid food he would sleep but still he wakes up . N he wants to suck for few seconds only than he goes to sleep.. He is not hungry but he wants to suck... How to deal with this habit??? I can't get enough sleep as he frequently wakes up.. What should I do to make him sleep for long period Plz help

my baby also has same habit..... Now he is 11 mnths old....

u can try bonnie nipple... it tricks d child as if he is sucking frm actual nipple... i tried it wid my little one ..n he goes to sleep while suckin... but remember dont overdo it... after he is asleep... remove it

Even my baby is also 6 months old n he is also having the same habit. He wake up in every 2 hour for suckling even though he is not hungry. ñ he is having this problem from last 3 months. Maybe this bonnie nipped is not gud for baby health n even doctors not prescribed this bcoz after using this the throat of baby chocked n voice become harsh. .

Hi Chandni.. have you tried giving him water by sippy cup when he wakes up at night? Now that he is 6 months old you can start water.. and try whether you can break the habit by this method..
