baby was born underweight. .

my baby girl is 1 month old. Her birth weight was 2 kgs only.. What precautions I should take nd what should I do to increase her weight and match the standards of normal babys

hi. even my baby is also one montn old. she was also underweight 2. 2 kg. dr told that exclusively breastfeed help her to gain weight quickly. also it provide the protective sheild to the baby. dont go for top feed because initially the baby will gain weight rapidly but later they will face lots of health issues.

the same question I askd to dr. she said that whatever u take . it will not effect the baby. but healthy diet is important to produce milk. she even told that if I take any cold items like ice creams or cool drink so I will only suffer from cold not the baby. so feed ur baby in every two hours and in night time for every 3 hours
