my son is 2. 3 yrs old and now 11kgs. I had same concerns for eating habits. Have asked my paediatrician also and got a real good advise to don't force feed. keep trying him to eat but don't create a fear for food for long run. Am following the same advise since few months and have seen improvement over setting him free to eat. Am not running after him to eat that bores him.. eat yourself or keep it on table. Try to avoid giving him more fluids that temporarily fills the stomach. If the tod is hungary it will automatically force them to take whatever is available. pls try if it works for you.

Even my baby is also very fussy in eating... she is also under weight... during her meal time she needs our mobile to watch her favourite videos in you tube or her personal... these videos only making her eat and nothing else. If there is no video then there is no meal. Plz suggest. ..

I understand ankita. Keeping kids away from phone is the most toughest challenge. Specially at meal times. But its in researches that food shall not be taken with watching tv as we tend to chew it lesser. Please start weening phone at the time of meals. Play favourite toys ..blocks...anything. You have to control your heart and be firm on not using vidoes. Let baby cry for sometime for the betterment eventually. My son is 2. 5yrs old and I allow him a single 5min video song per day. He cannot ask for more.
