bad breath and white tongue

my child is 3yrs and 8months old. His tongue is white all the time... every morning I used tongue cleaner to clean tongue but after some time it becomes again same as before.... please suggest me any home remedies or any other information to cure this problem

hi Vinaya Bhutada ! if it rubs off with mild scrubbing with clean finger , it could be a milk residue for which u need to make the child rinse his mouth with water Everytime he has his meals and milk . in case it doesn't get cleansed even after rubbing, it could be oral thrush which might get all right within two weeks or so. in this case u need to make him rinse his mouth with an antiseptic mouthwash and give him curd. u could also consult yr doc who would give u an ointment or gel to be applied on his tongue. hope this helps!
